Tom Eckersley (1914–97) is generally regarded as one of the best of the mid-century graphic designers in Britain and certainly one of the most collectable.
This limited edition print (of 150 on heavy art paper) was issued by Transport For London in 2013 to mark 150 years of the London Underground. It replicates one of Eckersley's original murals designed for the Piccadilly Line extension to Heathrow Airport.
