Che Entre Leyendas - Cuban Movie Poster

All our Cuban film posters are from editions hand-printed by ICAIC: Instituto Cubano de Artes Industrias Cinematografia in their Taller Seriagrafia (silkscreen workshop) in Havana. Distinguishable from cheap reproductions by their matt finish and highly evocative inky smell, these posters are becoming increasingly rare and collectable.

This poster was issued for the 1989 Cuban documentary 'Che Entre Leyendas' (Che Among Legends) about Che Guevara's doomed trip to Bolivia. The design incorporates a map of Bolivia showing principal cities as well as Higuera where he was killed in 1967. The poster was designed by Fabián Muñoz, son of the late Cuban graphic artist Eduardo Muñoz.
